Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University with a BA in journalism & a minor in criminal justice, Heather hopes to bring stories of our culture & society to life through visual production. Outside of the classroom, she has taken on leadership roles as the news editor & editor-in-chief of Montclair State’s student-run news organization, The Montclarion. While her academic time was committed to these roles, she spent two summers interning in New York City at two TV stations: Fox News Channel & WABC-TV. It was in Fox News Channel’s entertainment sector & WABC-TV’s investigative unit where she learned the ins and outs of news package production and what makes for a solid story in today’s ever-changing & competitive news climate. She also has 3+ years of experience as a true crime TV producer for Law&Crime Trial Network, where she worked on projects that have gained millions of viewers from social media, streaming-based platforms & nationally-syndicated TV shows.
